Centara Grand Hotel Osaka

The hotel is well located for seeing the downtown sites of Osaka. I’d booked a premium floor room and we were lucky to be allocated a corner room, the views were great.

The room is more spacious than usual, and the location is decent

We stayed on the 28th floor in a club room - i would recommend this as the club facilities and the room view were great. Large room, especially for japan, large bathroom with separate toilet. had a couch and small table as well as a spot for suitcases. Kettle, hair dryer and coffee machine in room too. The breakfast buffet is extensive and varied, well worth the addition. The hotel sits on the edge of Namba and Nipponbashi. Namba was nice, and the Parks Namba building can be reached from the second floor of the hotel by a walkway - which we only found by accident. There are two floor of restaurants at the top of Namba parks, which i would have thought the hotel may have supplied some information about. As we only found by accident, we were only able to visit once and the food was excellent there. Parks namba also has a fancy italian gelato and chocolate shop, all lovely to visit. The streets of the Nipponbashi side are fine in the afternoon and evening, however are deserted in the mornings and dont feel as safe/smell pretty bad when walking around (pee etc). It is a short walk to the kuramon market area, though i would suggest going in the afternoon or evening. There is also a Lawson's right next to the hotel, but you have to exit on level 2, is it not visable from level 1.

Beautiful place, beautiful view, super convenient location, super cool mall next door. Love it. Classy restaurants and bars upstairs.

Everthing about this hotel was outstanding. The room, location and breakfast were amazing. The choice at breakfast was incredible with all food being perfectly cooked. We checked into this hotel for the last two nights of our trip to Japan after being extremely disappointed with the pre booked hotel as part of our tour. It was the best decision ever. We finished our holiday in style.
